A Stained History: Endangered Secrets

Genevieve Kelley is an eighteen-year-old student at Arrandon Academy, one of Ashland’s most highly regarded boarding schools specializing in fine arts. What begins as another year competing in the Academy’s annual fine arts restoration takes a dangerous turn when Gen unwittingly discovers a centuries-old secret hidden in the panel of a stained-glass window. Overnight, Gen is immersed in a world of secrets and deception that tests her nerves and her belief in the country she thought she knew. Gen follows a web of clues, relying on her guts, her mastery of stained glass, and her knowledge of the outdoors. With the help of loyal German Shepherd, Baron, and partner, Seamus, she works to uncover the clues before they fall into the wrong hands. Operating on little information, Gen must trust the people she believes in. Little does she know, the fate of Ashland rests in her hands.

Fun Facts about A Stained History: Endangered Secrets

  • I started writing this book while living abroad in Dublin, Ireland, and you can see many Irish influences throughout the series.

  • I hand-wrote this book in the three journals shown on the homepage. You really can't beat the feeling of pen and paper as your story pours out.

  • I have been making stained glass since I was in highschool. Sharing my love for the art form with readers is one of my favorite things about this series. Finding the balance between explaining the steps without boring anyone was a challenge, but I hope my love for the art shines through!

  • Baron, Gen's beloved companion, is based on my real-life German Shepherd, who was my loyal adventure buddy for nearly a decade. He is deeply missed.

  • I am an avid backpacker, camper, and hiker. The stories in my series are pulled from my real-life adventures.

  • A Stained History: Endangered Secrets is book one in the planned ASHES series. I anticipate a total of five books.

  • A Stained History: Enduring Strength is book two in the planned series. It's ready to go!
